ACCOUNTABILITY
Holding elected officials responsible for their actions starts with knowing what they're doing and why. Starting with his campaign, Anthony will keep the district up-to-date on his activities and initiatives.
ACCESSIBILITY
Not only should reaching your elected officials be easy, but they ought to also come to you. You will find Anthony out and about, at community events, and if elected, at a district office and at town halls.
AFFORDABILITY
Maryland's cost of living is one of the highest in the nation, driving young adults and retirees alike from our state. Anthony will push for more energy generation to bring down electric bills and targeted tax relief to increase take-home pay.
EDUCATION
Harford students and their parents deserve the best. In Annapolis, Anthony will fight to adjust state-rated capacity to ensure class sizes are sustainable and for more funding for school support staff, like special educators and mental health professionals.
DEVELOPMENT
What struck Anthony immediately about Harford was its balance of green space to more residential and commercial areas. The scale and speed of new construction is straining our roads, emergency services, and schools. As our Delegate, Anthony will lobby for more responsible growth and more infrastructure funding.
PRAGMATISM
Anthony is willing to work with anyone if it means benefitting Bel Air, Abingdon, and Harford County. He will be an independent representative for our community -- not a party line vote -- always putting our district first.
RESPONSIVENESS
You deserve timely responses to any questions or concerns sent to a Delegate Lyon's office. Constituent work is about great customer service and not stopping until your needs are met.
RESULTS
Anthony will fight to bring home historic amounts of funding for our schools, roads, green spaces, and more. Our district should enjoy more state funding for our projects and activities, but that money must be fought for every legislative session.

Bel Air and Abingdon are home to incredible small businesses, helping to make this community what it is. Anthony will advocate for flexible policies that support and recognize the uniqueness and value that each small business brings to the table.
